THE BRIEF
The Phoenix Hotel approached us to build their website to showcase the new venue and increase the number of patrons that visit for events, bistro dining and bottle shop purchases. An ongoing strategy was required to maintain the content of the website to match upcoming events and grow the online reach and ability to market to new and existing patrons.

OUR APPROACH
Prior to the website launching, we created a coming soon page and connected it to an email subscriber system to collect emails so The Phoenix had a list to market to as soon as they opened the doors. We worked with the team at The Phoenix Hotel on a photo shoot at the venue to capture the function rooms, bistro and selected food items from their menu.

RESPONSIVE
We ensured that the website was responsive on all mobile devices like iphone and ipad and tested thoroughly on all devices.

WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Our partner Shadric really produced some fantastic visuals on the site and it really makes an impression as soon as you land on the site. We worked closely with Shadric to take these ideas over into the framework and transfer them into a fantastic website.

CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
It was a key requirement that the client was able to edit the website themselves. They posted regular blogs and update their client lists regularly. They also wanted to see how their website was performing, so we built in Google Analytics into their dashboard for them to monitor site statistics.

SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION
This website was only lightly optimised as part of the basic setup, but has seen their main keyword ‘hairdressing pr agency’ shoot up from Position 16 into Position 3 in Google (July 16). They have also soon seen an 200% increase in visitors since the re-design. View Google Result
